Anchor Squeezy
Baking leads to some of the best things in life. Cake. Cupcakes. Brownies. But getting to the cake can be a bore when you have to wait for the butter to get soft before you can start mixing.
We’ve got the answer with Anchor Squeezy. We’ve blended real butter and rapeseed oil into the perfect squeezable form for smooth batter every single time. Just give it a squeeze straight from the fridge for deliciously buttery bakes.

Easy Squeezy Baking
It’s easy to get impatient when the mood strikes and you want fresh-baked goodness. We’ve all made the mistake of trying to mix cold butter straight into cake batter.
There’s the squidging of the butter lumps into the mix with a spoon or accidentally completely melting it in the microwave before you even start. You could be clever and use margarine, but you don’t get that authentic buttery taste.

Anchor Squeezy is more convenient to use than butter or spreadable, as it is already liquid and can be squeezed right in and stirred easily right away. And with Anchor Squeezy you still get the great butter taste as with butter or spreadable.
- Anchor Squeezy contains concentrated butter, what is that?
-
Concentrated butter, also called clarified butter, is as the name states a concentrated butter. It is mady by melting butter and removing the moisture, so only the concentrated butter fat is left. So in essence, concentrated butter is the milk fat part of butter.
- Anchor Squeezy contains coconut and shea oil. Why?
-
Coconut and Shea oil is added to the product to obtain the perfect functionality for baking. These fats make the product squeezable and soft without becoming too runny.
- Rapeseed oil is the first ingredient, why is there so much rapeseed oil?
-
To make Anchor Squeezy squeezable we needed to add a liquid fat to combine with the butter. For this we chose rapeseed oil, as it is a neutral oil, that do not overpower the taste of the butter in the product. Furthermore, it is considered a healthy oil, based on the high level of unsaturated fats.
- Is the product produced in the UK? Why not?
-
No, the product is produced in Sweden. This is done because we have our experts on squeezy butters together with the facilities for producing such products in Sweden. However, our Anchor butter experts have been deeply involved in the product development to ensure that the product lives up to Anchor taste and quality.
- How did Anchor Squeezy become softer than spreadable?
