Get your start-of-the-day sensation ready in advance – or tuck into a barnstorming, buttery brekkie at teatime – with our simple yet amazing slow cooker breakfast hack.
Forget the stress of burning the sausages while the toaster turns your bread charcoal black. Instead, put all the best ingredients of a full English into a single flavour-filled pot instead.
We’ve packed the hack into a 20-second showcase to show you how.
What you need
Leave the pots and pans for another day! All you need for this delight is your trusty slow cooker.
Your full English will take eight hours to cook, but simply get the slow cooker breakfast on whenever you like – and time it for when you want to tuck in.
Bung in all the many delicious morsels of a full English breakfast, and this will ensure each one is cooked perfectly – without the hassle of multiple hobs.
Before you start, grab:
- Bangers
- Mushrooms
- Melts-on-everything Anchor butter
- Beans
- Bacon
- Eggs
- Bread
- Slow cooker
Method
Carefully place your fry-up assortment into the cooker. Add a dollop of butter into your foamy whisked eggs, and another into your meaty mushrooms for the ultimate creamy texture. Just remember to save some for the toast on the side.
Then all you have to do is (try and) wait patiently for eight hours – don’t let the mouth-watering smell tempt you! Once cooked, plate up with a stack of buttered toast and enjoy.
This really is an ALL-DAY breakfast, but the wait is utterly worth it. Our slow cooker hack makes it simple to enjoy those buttery eggs and classic full English.
The extras
Add a side of golden, crispy hash browns to your full English for a dose of additional fry up flavour.
Tasty results
Stress-free, mess-free and still just as tasty, once you’ve tried the slow cooker breakfast hack, you’ll never go back. It’ll save you precious effort – and washing up!
